DELIVERING A WORDPRESS SITE ON TIME IS MORE COMPLEX THAN IT SEEMS

Anyone who works with WordPress has experienced this:

You start a project thinking it will be simple. Install the theme, configure the plugins, adjust the layout… But then come the invisible adjustments, the last minute requests, the bugs that appear out of nowhere and, of course, the endless revisions.

🧩 The client changes the content midway. 🔧 The plugin breaks after an update. 🕵️‍♀️ You waste hours hunting for a CSS conflict. ⏳ And that comfortable deadline becomes a race against time.

And there’s more: The scope is not always clear. The customer does not always respond quickly. Hosting doesn’t always help. But the deadline? It remains the same.

👊 Working with WordPress requires much more than technical skill. You need to know how to deal with expectations, plan with margin, be clear in communication and — above all — have flexibility.

I learned to deliver projects with less weight and more predictability when I started:

✅ Define a very detailed scope right at the beginning ✅ Use checklists for each stage of the website ✅ Estimate time based on real experiences, not optimism ✅ And say “no” when something goes wrong

Because, in the end, a well-delivered website is not just code or beautiful design. It’s trust. It’s alignment. It’s a result.

If you have also had a project delayed or had to redo it from scratch, comment here. Let’s normalize this conversation. And learn together to improve.
